These audio formats can be used in the background music feature of Image Explorer Pro.
SND or AU - Simple sound format which originated on Sun computers. This format is Read Only in Image Explorer Pro.

MPEG-1 - File format used for storing video and audio data. It is targeted for systems that can transfer up to 1.5 Megabits per second. This format is Read Only in Image Explorer Pro.

AIFF and AIFF-C - Audio Interchange File Format for storing audio data. This format originated on the Macintosh.
AIFF-C is an extension of AIFF which allows compression. These formats are Read Only in Image Explorer Pro.

MIDI - Musical Instrument Digital Interface is used in computer music applications to store and play musical notes. This format is Image Explorer Pro.

WAVE - Native sound format for MS Windows. This format is Read/Write in Image Explorer Pro.

AVI - Native multimedia file format for MS Windows which supports storing audio and video data. This format supports both compressed and uncompressed data. This format is Read/Write in Image Explorer Pro.
