Bicubic Resample

Click this or press (Alt+End) to resample the image.  Resample not only resizes the image but it also changes the storage requirements of the image, often producing a better quality image.  When resampling the pixels in the image are "resampled" using a bilinear interpolation algorithm.  Although this usually produces a better quality image than the Resize method, it takes longer to perform the task.  Below is a screen shot of the Resample window followed by definitions.

Width: The current width of the image is displayed in this field by default.  Simply enter the new width in this field or use the slider bar to increase or decrease the current width to your specifications .

Height: The current height of the image is displayed in this field by default.  Simply enter the new height in this field or use the slider bar to increase or decrease the current height to your specifications.

Keep Aspect: Selecting this option will keep the proportions of the image when resizing.  If the image height is adjusted by 50% then the image width is adjusted by 50% and vice versa.  This works when enlarging or reducing.
